KEAM Result 2025

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has arranged the KEAM 2025 entrance examination. During the announcement of the results, the candidates can check the results and scorecard at the official CEE Kerala website. The result of Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2025 has been released today, May 14 at cee.kerala.gov.in/keam2025.

KEAM Result 2025

The KEAM entrance test is an important aspect for many professional courses in Kerala. Engineering, architecture, or pharmacy, this examination is entry number one. For admission into medical courses, NEET marks are considered, not KEAM.

The KEAM examination for the year 2025 was conducted from April 23rd to 29th. The online computer-based test mode had been taken for the first time rather the traditional practice of pen and paper. The change was made for the betterment of the exam administration system, and one of the causes of it was the several days it took.

KEAM Result 2025 Date & Time

The CEE was slated to declare KEAM 2025 results by May 10, 2025. The silver lining is that the result has been announced on May 14, 2025. The CEE, after conducting the exam, also released the final answer key by invalidating 24 questions and changing the answers for 9 questions. This will, of course, change the final scores.

How to check result?

Some steps that students must follow for getting results are:

  • Visit the official CEE Kerala website, cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • Search for the “KEAM 2025 Results” link on the homepage.
  • Click on KEEM 2025 – Candidate Portal and new interface opens.
  • Enter Application number and password in the login page.
  • Submit the details to view the scorecard.

The scorecard contains roll number, name, category, marks obtained by the candidate in each subject, total marks, and rank in various categories.

NOTE: The scores are normalized since the exam was conducted in several sessions. This is to ensure equal chance to everyone. A candidate needs a normalized score of 10 to be declared as pass, but for SC/ST candidates there is no such restriction; they only have to mark one question for attempt.

Qualifying Marks and Eligibility

  • Engineering: Minimum normalized score of 10 (exempted for SC/ST candidates).
  • Pharmacy: Minimum normalized score of 10 (exempted for SC/ST).
  • Candidates who left all questions blank in a paper will be disqualified.

What after the Results are out?

After the result made public, the CEE would publish the KEAM 2025 rank list before June 10, 2025. This rank list is very important as it decides which candidate gets admission to which course. The rank for engineering will be computed by mixing the KEAM score at 50% and Class 12 marks at 50%. Hence, there will be separate rank lists for engineering, architecture, pharmacy, and medical allied courses. The admission will be done on the basis of this rank list through the CAP (Centralized Allotment Process).

The detailed counseling process and the rules for tie-break will be as per the conducting board which will be uploaded on the official website. The board basically changes it terms every year.

KEAM 2024 District-Wise Result Analysis

This gives details of total candidates in the rank list and those within the top 1000 ranks across 14 districts and an “Others” category for the year 2024. Here is a detailed breakdown:

  • Total Candidates in Rank List
    • Total: 55,914 candidates
  • Top Districts: By Candidate Count
    • Ernakulam: 6,971 (12.5% of total)
    • Thiruvananthapuram: 6,920 (12.4%)
    • Thrissur: 5,434 (9.7%)
    • Kollam: 5,423 (9.7%)
    • Malappuram: 5,168 (9.2%)
  • Bottom Districts: By Candidate Count
    • Wayanad: 766 (1.4%)
    • Idukki: 1,238 (2.2%)
    • Kasaragod: 1,361 (2.4%)

Insight: Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram districts dominate in participation, jointly accounting for almost 25% of candidates in the rank list. Wayanad, Idukki, and Kasaragod participation levels are very low, possibly due to low population or fewer number of educational institutions.

A list of major observations that can be drawn from the above data-

Regional Disparities: Being urban centers, Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kozhikode provide candidates with grueling coaching, infrastructure for teaching, and innumerable issues that practically prevented any entry to the domain.

Small Districts: Wayanad, Idukki, and Kasaragod, with fewer participants and tops, should possibly be counted among those facing problems-limited resources or a small population.

Efficiency Highlights: Districts categorized under “Others,” along with Kozhikode and Alappuzha, have a very high efficiency in terms of securing top ranks, indicating strong performance from them despite the difference in the candidate volumes.

Required Documents during counseling process

Qualified candidates should keep the following documents ready for the counseling process:

  • KEAM 2025 admit card
  • KEAM 2025 scorecard
  • Class 10 and 12 certificates and mark sheets
  • Category/community certificate (if applicable)
  • Income certificate (if applicable)
  • Other relevant certificates as mentioned in the official notification.

When will the KEAM normalized score and percentile scores be announced?

CEE has released the scores on May 14, 2025.
